Surfing

Sure, there are fine surfing venues on Nova Scotia's eastern shore. Atlantic Ocean beaches around Lawrencetown & Cow Bay near Halifax are well known to surfers.

But to the east of Halifax County lies Guysborough County. Surfing opportunities there have been kept mighty quiet, but rumours do float around. Rumours of some world class surfing in the quiet & laid-back District of St. Mary's in Guysborough County, home to the beautiful St. Mary's River & many fine ocean beaches.

It's a secret. We can't tell.
But here's a hint - 2 words - Wine & Harbour.
